
About the Role
Full-time development role focused on building knowledge/skills for professional arboriculture.
Assist the Tree133 arborist team in performing high-quality tree preservation and occasional tree removal. Primary responsibilities include brush handling, rope handling for rigging, chainsaw operation, chipper operation, driving trucks, client communication and project documentation. Emphasis on developing skills and knowledge in ornamental tree care, including pruning, cabling/bracing and root management. Opportunity to begin learning modern tree climbing skills based on aptitude and job performance. Contribute to the advancement of our profession through education, volunteering/participating at industry events and tree climbing competitions.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
At least 6 months experience in professional arboriculture
Knowledgeable in safe work practices for ground ops, chainsaw ops, chipper ops
Experience driving trucks with towed chippers/trailers, preferable in city environment
Starting wage $23-27/hour based on experience plus opportunity for bonuses
