From the beginning, Tree133 has aspired to empower people with sound advice and education, and help property owners/managers to preserve trees in our shared urban forests. Our tree care professionals are committed to safe work practices in arboriculture and strive to follow ANSI Z133-2017 safety standards on every project. These standards provided the inspiration for our name, Tree133.

Tree133 is fully licensed, bonded and insured to provide tree care and consulting services in Washington State.

Our ISA Certified Arborists are highly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture.  They have earned this designation through a combination of education and practical work experience. Certified Arborists adhere to a Code of Ethics defining their responsibilities to the profession, to clients, to the public… and to trees. This important credential is administered by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and accredited by the American National Standards Institute.

The ISA-qualified Tree Risk Assessor designation identifies that a Certified Arborist has been specifically trained to use the methodologies defined in the ISA Best Management Practices for Tree Risk Assessment. This important qualification promotes the safety of people and property by providing a standardized and systematic process for assessing tree risk.

Tree133 is a member of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) which is dedicated to the worker safety and sound operation of tree care businesses. TCIA provides a foundation for member companies to share best practices and work together to improve the profession of arboriculture.

Credentials

Tree133 is based in North Seattle where we are fortunate to have a robust urban canopy and vibrant neighborhoods. We love our community and strive to preserve the healthy trees that are so important to everyone’s health and wellbeing.

We are currently developing a “donated tree care” program to provide quality tree care services to residents of North Seattle who need support. Stay tuned for news and updates as this program comes to life.

Local Community

Worldwide

We regularly participate in the International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) and numerous regional and local tree climbing events. These volunteer opportunities have taken Tree133 to many US states and multiple countries on three different continents. Each year, these experiences yield wonderful new professional connections and friendships.

At the 2019 ITCC in Knoxville, TN, Craig Bachmann received the Bruce Smith Volunteer Spirit of the Competition award for his contribution to this premier international event. This award is voted on by the competitors and awarded to one volunteer each year. It was a special honor for our Lead Arborist to be recognized in this manner.  Craig was previously recognized with the Volunteer Spirit award at the 2018 North American Tree Climbing Championship in Salt Lake City, UT, and the inaugural Latin American championship (2017) in Medellin, Colombia.

These awards remind us of the value of service, the importance of local community and how trees provide a global connection among arborists and all people.
